ABOUT US
Empowering Athletes with Disabilities
Wichita Adaptive Sports is a non-profit dedicated to the promotion of adaptive sports and recreation in south-central Kansas.
Each year Wichita Adaptive Sports serves over 100 youth, wounded warriors and adults throughout south central Kansas. Multiple sports are offered including wheelchair basketball, tennis, track, adaptive cycling and swimming among others. Opportunities are provided through adaptive clinics, bi-monthly social events, sports and recreation.

Programs offered through Wichita Adaptive Sports are designed to empower individuals by independently taking control of personal health with active living. Clinics are offered in order to introduce sports to those living with physical disabilities. Various sports are offered to both youth and adults with opportunities to attend competitions both locally and throughout the United States. The sport groups not only promote physical health, but mental health through providing a support network of locals living with physical disabilities in the State of Kansas.
